- Airport opening: Late 2026 (end of year, on track).
- Metro line opening: Expected 2027 (likely April or December), possibly 6–12 months after the airport starts flights.
- Until metro launch: Use rapid bus services from Penrith, Liverpool, Campbelltown, plus taxis/rideshare.

Travel Times and Station Map
- St Marys → Airport Terminal: 15 minutes (very fast).
- Airport → Sydney CBD (Central): ~15 min to St Marys + 50–60 min T1 train → Total ~70–80 minutes (with transfer).
- To Parramatta / Blacktown: Much quicker via St Marys interchange.
Departures and Destinations
From WSI Airport: Northbound to St Marys then Parramatta, Blacktown, Central; Southbound to Bradfield.
To WSI Airport: Mainly from St Marys + transfers; feeder buses from Penrith, Liverpool, Campbelltown.
Future extensions: North to Schofields, south to Leppington/Macarthur (planning stage).
Frequency and Operating Hours
Expected: Every 4–10 min peak, 10 min off-peak. Hours ~5am–midnight+, possible night services for 24/7 airport.
